FIRE Arena is located in the neighborhood Bratavets, near Yablanitsa - 70 km. from Sofia (1 hour by car on the Hemus highway). The FIRE art-eco CENTER complex covers an area of nearly 3 acres at the very end of Bratavets and is in the process of gradual step by step construction. Thanks to the targeted funding granted to us for the purpose by the National fund CULTURE under the One-Year Program for Support of Professional Organizations in the Field of Traditional and Contemporary Circus Art '2020, the stage is already built, filled up and covered with natural dry concrete and now can meet its first major creative manifestations.
The Fire of Art was first lit at the FIRE Arena on July 24, 2021, when the fire happening "Feel the Fire" was realized on the stage. Participants were young people from 7 different countries, who stayed with us for a summer creative camp and helped to raise the stage.
FIRE art-eco CENTER is designed as a place for creative camps, family and children's art-eco weekends, community educational and outdoor art events, performances, festivals and exhibitions, workshops, etc.
It is our intention, along with other initiatives that will take place in it (related to non-formal education, cultural heritage, ecology, etc.) to turn it into an active international center for research, development and promotion of Fire Drama and the Culture of Fire.
For those wishing to stay more than one day artists and guests, at the moment the center offers completely natural living conditions: area for tents, and awnings, areas for cooking (gas stove, barbecue), dining areas, outdoor fireplace, running water, toilets, solar showers, and a small lockable storage room for equipment.
